Christian organizations and congregations are becoming increasingly aware of the positive impact that biblically-grounded, emotionally-healthy, mission-focused Christian leaders have on the overall life and well-being of their group.

Because of Artios’ commitment to financial responsibility, flexible online leadership courses, and a focus on vibrant Christian leadership that marries theological foundations with practical applications, many groups recognize the benefit of offering full or partial financial sponsorships to their members.

Available Sponsorships

The following sponsors set aside funds each year for financial sponsorship and have asked that we make this information easily accessible to our students. Please check to see if you are eligible to request sponsorship from one of these organizations:

ACTS (Central District)

Eligibility:

GC members residing in the Central District who are enrolled in a pastoral academic program.*

How to request:

Note: Requests must be submitted no later than three weeks prior to the first day of class.

Northeast District

Eligibility:

GC members residing in the Northeast District who are enrolled in an Artios program or are NAMC members.

How to request:

1. Send sponsorship request letter to: Heber Vega, pastorvega@nedcog7.com
2. Submit a Sponsorship Profile Release Authorization Form in myArtios to: Northeast District, pastorvega@nedcog7.com

Note: Requests must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the first day of class.

Southeast District

Eligibility:

GC members residing in the Southeast District who are enrolled in a pastoral academic program.*

How to request:

Southwest District

Eligibility:

GC members residing in the Southwest District who are enrolled in a pastoral academic program* and are in a current pastoral leadership position or a member of the NAMC.

How to request:

Southwest District sponsorship is temporarily covered by HOPE Ministry. See below for how to request HOPE Ministry sponsorship.

Note: Requests must be submitted no later than three weeks prior to the first day of class.

HOPE Ministry

Eligibility:

GC members, men or women, who are enrolled in an Artios program and are seeking equipping to serve the church in any area of ministry.

How to request:

1. Submit a letter describing your vision and mission to serve others from this training to Director David Burrell at burrell.dc@gmail.com
2. Submit letters of reference from your Pastor and church board to Director David Burrell at burrell.dc@gmail.com

Note: Requests must be submitted no later than three weeks prior to the first day of class.

GC Equipping for Excellence

Eligibility:

GC members who are enrolled in and have completed 75% of an Artios program and have received a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

How to request:

1. Apply for any local/district sponsorships available to you (you will be asked about this in the application).
2. Submit a Sponsorship Profile Release Authorization Form in myArtios to: Equipping for Excellence Administrator, registrar@artioscollege.org.
3. Submit application form here.

Note: Requests must be submitted no later than three weeks prior to the first day of class.

CG7 International Student Scholarship

Eligibility:

International students who:

-are members of a Church of God (Seventh Day) International Federation-affiliated local church or national conference
-are enrolled in an Artios program
have passed COM 121 and LEA 111 (or two other Artios courses)* with a grade of B or higher
-have the endorsement of their local church of national leadership.

*Students unable to afford to take these initial reduced-tuition courses may still apply and request to have these initial courses covered. If request is approved, your application for assistance for remaining courses will be put on hold until grades for initial courses are finalized.

How to request:

1. Request letter of endorsement from your local church or national leadership, verifying that you are a member in good standing and describing your ministry involvement. The author should send the letter directly to the Artios Registrar at registrar@artioscollege.org.
2. Submit application form (link coming soon).

Note: Application (including letter of endorsement) must be received no later than four weeks prior to the first day of class.
