Israel joined the LifeSpring team in 2010 as Curriculum Development and Instruction Specialist after serving as an adjunct instructor for LifeSpring and Ministries Training System. Beginning in 2012 Israel became Dean of Academic Affairs with LifeSpring, a post that includes development of curriculum, teaching, and oversight of the faculty. Previously he was pastor of the Kansas City, Missouri congregation, and prior to that, served as Church Administrator and youth leader for the Community Church of Chesapeake, Virginia. Israel’s background includes preaching, prison ministry, teaching and small group leadership. A frequent contributor to the Bible Advocate
and Ministerial FORUM, Israel was also part of the writing committee for This We Believe: Teachings of the Church of God (Seventh Day).
